THE FIVE P’s TO REMEMBER
PICK your music.
PAY for your music easily through paypal or use of your favorite credit card
PRINT your music. Once your purchased has quickly been verified, a download link will appear. The “link” is good for 14 days.
PLAY your music. With music in hand from your printer, you are now ready to enjoy your music. Sit down and play, sing, conduct, envision all the great musical experiences you will have with your music.
PLACE the label on your music. After your purchase, your labels to make your copies legal will arrive through the postal service. Place a label on each copy of music to make the music legal. If you ever need more labels, just visit the website and order more. You may always contact us through info@holysheetmusic.com
A: We provide music instantly to our customers by allowing them to print out our music on their home printer. Without a label, every copy downloaded could be suspected of illegal photocopying. The label you place on your downloaded copies insures that every copy you have is legal. If it doesn’t have a label, it’s not a legal copy.
Q: How does the label work?
A: The label, which is separate from the downloaded music, is the most important component of making your music legal. Without it, there is no way to prove that your copies of our music were not illegally photocopied. In the effort to keep customers honest, labels (printed in red and grey) fore each purchased copy will be mailed to each customer.
Q: What if I have a rehearsal and have not yet received my labels to make them legal?
Scenario: If you ordered music from HSM toward the end of the week (or the day of your rehearsal) and have not yet received your labels in the mail, you may go ahead and use the copies for your first rehearsal. Just make an announcement that labels are coming in the mail. This sends a message to all singers that you are being honest.
Q: Why am I being charged a shipping fee for a music download?
A: You are only charged a shipping fee and handling fee when you download sheet music. There is no shipping/handling charge when you purchase mp3 files. The shipping/handling charge for sheet music is to cover the cost of postage to send you the number of labels you’ll need for each copy of music you downloaded. Without the labels, your music remains an illegal copy.
Q: I can’t figure out how to listen to your music titles. What do I do to listen to them?
A: Click on the title of the music you select. The title will expand into a box that will allow you to read the description and credits, and see at least one or two pages of music. You’ll see a play button arrow. Click on it and you’ll be able to hear the complete recording.

Q: What if I can’t find music for a topic or occasion, or in a style that I’m looking for?
A: Please go to our “contact” menu at the top of the Home Page and tell us exactly what your need is and we’ll do our best to help you find exactly what you are looking for. We have many talented, eager composers who might even compose specifically for your need. We want to serve our customers needs.
Q: If I ask a composer to compose something especially for my musical needs, how much will such a commission cost?
A: In many cases such smaller commissions as choral and piano accompaniment, instrumental solos, and similar compositions, will not be charged, although each composer will determine whether or not they will charge for the commission you request of them. Our composers and arrangers are mostly looking for opportunities to fill the needs of those who want to perform their music, and to publish it here, at HolySheetMusic.com. Once their commission of the piece you request of them is completed, HSM will upload the commissioned music to the website and it will be available for you to purchase. The time frame for the commission to be completed and made available for sale will be established by the commissioning party and the composer.
Q: If I commission a piece by one of HSM’s composers/arrangers, who will own the copyright and other rights?
A: The composer/arranger will own all rights to the compositions they arrange/compose for such commissions, unless there is a written contract between the two parties stating otherwise.
